ADA 1O:  Grade Nine Drama

Thank you to everyone for your amazing final performance of "Wrecked".  Thanks to our tech crew who made us all look good.  Thanks to our stage manager and assistant, who also made us look organized ... and good.  Thanks to our actors who shared parts and went through those transitions so smoothly  ... and looked good.  Thanks especially to those who worked so hard to memorize lines, actions, and timing.  Thanks also to parents, grandparents, teachers, our principal, Mr. Edwards, and our vice principal, Mrs. Mieners, our guidance person, Mrs. Couvrette, who also came and made this performance special.

“Jacob Two-Two and the Hooded Fang”

Your final journal response will be one complete page in length or more.  Please double space your work.

Topic:

You will write three paragraphs telling:

Paragraph ONE:

·         Explain how you prepared yourself to perform ( costume, hair, make-up, lines recalled)

·         Tell how you prepared with a warm-up

·         Tell what kind of audience you had

·         Tell if you think your preparation was useful

Paragraph TWO:

Tell about three things that you really liked about the performance.  They could include things about your group’s performance, or your own personal performance.  Give details that include aspects of the performance such as:  timing, improv,  voice projection, facial expression, body language, gestures, scene transitions, costumes, and emotions.

Paragraph THREE:

Describe at least two changes you would make if you could perform this again.

Write this journal in proper paragraph form and hand it in to me by the end of today’s class.
